FRIDAY, APRIL 24, 2009 COMPASSIONATE ILLUMINATION AT PENN STATE'S EARTH DAY FESTIVAL

COMPASSIONATE ILLUMINATION AT PENN STATE'S EARTH DAY FESTIVAL ON FRIDAY, APRIL 24, 2009

Jean is proud to be a part of Penn State Altoona's 8th Annual Earth Day Festival, sponsored by Eco-Action, which is being held on Friday, April 24th, 2009 from 10am-5pm. Events will center in and around the Slep Student Center.

Planned events include a drum circle led by Jonathan Murray of FunDrum Rhythm Circles, meditation and yoga sessions, canoe lessons and races, children's activities, a headlining performance by Mystery Train, and of course, exhibits by local businesses, organizations, and other clubs at Penn State Altoona. There will also be an alternative fuel/energy efficient auto show.

Jean will have a Compassionate Illumination presentation and will lead an Earth Day meditation. She will be available for sessions on the campus as well. Love is a fire that is out of control. Once ignited, it cannot be contained. You may strive for moderation in diet, exercise, and work hours, but striving for moderation in love is like striving for moderation in breathing.
